Yemen’s Education Sector Sees New Opportunities Through International Emergency Funding

On 4 November, Switzerland announced an additional CHF29 million for Yemen as part of a CHF40 million emergency-support package for Yemen and Ethiopia. The funding will support humanitarian services, including healthcare, protection and assistance for vulnerable communities; no separate education allocation or school-training budget was specified. This creates potential opportunities for education providers, humanitarian training organisations and institutional partners.
